Is anyone else unable to eat around other people?

Not me personally, but I used to work with a guy like that. I never knew what his reasons for it were, so I don't know if he had the same kinds of thoughts, but it was pretty severe. If we went out to lunch for work or something, he would just sit there. I felt bad for him because he seemed really embarred about it.
