Sea fishing advice??????????????????

I've fished that area often, and casting from the shore or a Pier you can catch a fairly wide variety of fish. I've caught whiting, pompano, flounder, small sharks and rays, lady fish, and a few puffer fish casting from the beach. You might run into some catfish on the bay side also. As for the setup, you might want to get an inexpensive saltwater rod, nothing serious just something with a little more heft than your typical b setup. Bait, I've has the most success with squid and shrimp, which can be bought cheap at any bait shop around there. I prefer squid because it's tough skin helps it stay on the hook better. Also the gulp brand artificial shrimp work pretty good.
