What the heck does this mean!?

he emails and texts and talks to me on facebook chat, we've hung out alone once a week since we met earlier this month (canoeing, just sitting and talking for lots of hours, hiking, movies at my place or his..) his mom met me twice (first time was the first time i met him too) and remembered my name the 2nd time (or had heard it more since the first time?) he's extremely nice and attentive and considerate and tonight he invited me over and made me dinner.. but he won't touch me at all. not a single time has he touched me on purpose.. what gives? does he just want friendship?
