Would it be safe 4 someone 2 get drunk 2 1/2 weeks after having had a gastric byp?

my friend had a gastric byp on the 13th of march and it is her 21st birthday on the 29th. its not like she wants 2 go out and get drunk every week, but she will be getting drunk on her birthday. is it safe 4 her 2 get drunk (spirits) just that once? i mean could it ruin the gastric byp or seriously damage her or will she be fine? thanks, Jen.
